MARI BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA DI MALAYSIA??!!

Subject: Re: [AusAID Alumni] Do you care about Bahasa Indonesia?

Dear Alumni,

Malaysian Department of Tourism is currently offering sponsorship to Australian school teachers of Indonesian to visit the country fro free topractically browse some cultural aspects like batik, ground tours, etc. They also try to promote Indonesian language teaching services for Australianstudents of Indonesian. We all know Australian students and teachers areofficially allowed to travel to Indonesia, like they did during thepre-bombing incidents in may parts of Indonesia - security reasons, politically correct. I guess Malaysia should thank to Mr. N. Topp. Hah?

In 2006 a travel agent in Melbourne promote 'Let's learn Indonesian inMalaysia' campaign to Australian students. In the July 2007 InternationalBIPA (Indonesian as a Second Language) Workshop in Jakarta I voiced verystrongly to the government to provide Indonesian language teaching(learning) scholarship to Australian teachers and students of Indonesian. Sofar, nothing has happened. Do you care?
